Four ways to stand out
Global Conflict keeps several kinds of record of what you have achieved, and each works differently:
- Awards are ladders you climb by playing. Each rank pays Gold Bars and lights a medal on your profile.
- Leaderboards rank every player on one measure at a time, live.
- Badges are given by the game team, and one can be pinned to your flag.
- Rank frames go around your flag, from Rookie to Warlord. See Levels and ranks.
None of these change your strength in a fight. The one prize that does is Limited Edition gear, below.
Awards
Open your Awards from Profile, the PROGRESSION tab, then Claim rewards in the AWARDS box. There are 21 Awards, and each one measures a single thing you do, such as players killed in battle, missions completed or damage dealt to Invasion Bosses.
- Every Award has five ranks, each with a bigger target. The card shows your progress and the target for the next rank.
- Ranks build on each other. Pass the rank 3 target and ranks 1 and 2 are yours as well.
- Each rank pays Gold Bars: 2 GB for rank 1, then 3, 5, 8 and 15 GB, so 33 GB for an Award taken all the way. The amount is the same at every Level. The Merit Award, for Mentors in Field Training, pays no Gold.
- Most Awards count for life: kills, wins, missions, bounties. Once counted, progress never goes down.
- Three measure where you stand right now: Top Brass (your place on the Level board), Revenue Stream (your Base income per hour) and War Machine (your upkeep per hour). You must hold the position at the moment you claim. Once claimed, the rank is yours for good, even if you later drop below it.
Claiming ranks
A rank you have reached waits for you to claim it. Tap CLAIM RANK on the Award's card to collect it; the button shows the Gold it pays. Each rank is claimed on its own and gets its own line in your Log.
When several are waiting, CLAIM ALL at the top of the screen collects every one of them, lowest rank first, and the button counts how many are waiting.
Every Award

Medals and the badge wall
Every Award has a medal, drawn in the metal of the rank you have reached: bronze for rank 1, silver, gold, platinum, and elite crimson and gold for rank 5, with five pips underneath showing the rank.
- Your public profile shows every Award you have reached rank 1 or higher in. That is what other players see when they open your profile.
- Your own PROGRESSION tab shows the full set, with locked medals for the Awards you have not started.
- A medal follows what you have done, not what you have claimed: it lights the moment you reach a rank, even before you tap CLAIM.
Leaderboards
Tap RANKS on the Home screen for the leaderboards. The first screen lists every board; tap one to open it. There are 14 boards, each ranking every player on one measure, worked out live from the game, so a board is always up to date.
- Board names are nicknames; the line under each name says exactly what it counts.
- Guest accounts are not ranked. Save your account and you appear on every board straight away.
- Ties are broken the same way every time, so the order never shuffles between pages.
Splits, countries and paging
- ALL TIME or THIS SPLIT. A Split is a 4-week stretch that starts on a Monday at 12:00 UTC, the same moment the Weekly Tasks reset. THIS SPLIT ranks only what players have done since it began, so everyone starts level. Boards that measure where you stand right now (Level, wealth, Allies, income) are all time only, because "how much did this grow" makes no sense for them.
- GLOBAL or MY COUNTRY. MY COUNTRY ranks only players from your country. Set your country on your profile first; without one, the board is empty and asks you to choose it.
- Every player is on the board, 25 to a page. PREV and NEXT step through it, and tapping the page number opens GO TO PAGE to jump anywhere. Your own row, marked YOU, is shown at the bottom of any page you are not on, with your real place.

Badges, Rank frames and prizes
- Badges cannot be earned by play. They are given by the game team to particular players, for example testers. Tap one to read what it is for, and pin your favourite: the pinned badge sits on the corner of your flag on your profile.
- Rank frames go around your flag wherever it appears: profiles, chat, the leaderboards and fight results. Rookie has a bare flag. The full ladder is on Levels and ranks.
- Limited Edition gear is a prize, never sold: first place in a tournament and a reward on the Tour of Duty. Unlike everything else on this page, it fights for you, adding to your Attack and Defence. See Gear.
