Most updates add something. This one mostly fixes something, and almost all of it lands in a new commander's first hour, which was the roughest part of Global Conflict by a distance.
This is a required update. Reload the browser game or install the new Android build before you jump back in.
The tutorial walks with you now
The old tutorial had a habit of teleporting you. Ask it to teach you about attributes and it would open the screen for you, point at a button, and move on. You learned which button to press and nothing about how to get back there.
It works the other way round now. It highlights the route and lets you walk it: the tab, then the sub-tab, then the control, with the highlight moving on as you go and releasing once you arrive. The one thing you actually do is spend a point, and where that point goes is your call. The old version demanded a specific spread and refused anything else. You place one of each kind so you have used the button, and the rest of the build is yours.
The buy-a-vehicle step got the same treatment. It shows you the Humvee, lets you see that you cannot afford it yet, walks you to the Bank, and shows you the way back once the money lands. Previously it announced the shortfall before you had seen the price, which is a strange way to explain anything.
Your first invasion looks like every invasion after it
The Level 3 practice boss used to resolve in a single tap from the bounty list. It now opens the real invasion screen, with a live damage log and the same battle result you get from a proper boss. It is a private boss, so nobody else is in the race, but the room is the right room.
The home screen tells you what you missed
The LOG and CHAT buttons now carry unread counters. Open one and its count clears. If the chat counter is more noise than signal for you, it can be muted in Settings without touching anything else.
There is also a Discord panel on the home screen now, because the community is where most questions actually get answered.
New commanders start with more
A new account now opens with 500,000 in the bank instead of 250,000, and holds one of each key item: Tactic Reallocation, Attribute Reallocation and Name Change. The reallocation pair matters most before you know what the stats do, which is exactly when you cannot afford them. The Name Change Key means everyone gets one rename without spending Gold.
Fixes and improvements
- Buy buttons that are disabled because you cannot afford the item now say so, rather than sitting there looking broken
- Removed tutorial highlights that landed on dividers and empty space instead of the tactic rows they were aiming at
- The tutorial stops re-dimming the screen when you scroll away from what it is pointing at
- The Battle screen always opens on TARGETS
- The Gold button in the Black Market opens the Treasury again
- The first-launch download screen shows real megabytes downloaded rather than a file counter

This release requires everyone to update before playing.
If you bounced off the tutorial the first time around, this is the version worth trying again, and we would like to know where it still loses you. Feedback goes in the discussions channel on Discord.
