We've rebuilt how power-ups work in Global Conflict. They're no longer permanent stat boosts you set once and forget — every power-up now resolves in the moment of battle, and the whole system is designed around one idea: a balanced commander should beat a one-trick build.
Power-ups now fire in battle
Instead of quietly padding your Attack or Defense forever, power-ups activate during the fight itself. That makes every loadout choice a real tactical decision rather than a permanent purchase — and it opens the door to far more interesting effects.
Balance is the new meta
Most power-ups now scale their payoff with your other stat. An offensive power-up rewards you for also having defense; a defensive one rewards you for also having attack. The result: a balanced army can squeeze up to roughly 6.6× the value out of the same power-up that a pure attack-or-defense “glass cannon” gets. Going all-in on one stat still works — until it very suddenly doesn't.
Hard counters for sharp commanders
A handful of high-tier items are pure matchup tools:
- C4 Breaching Charge and Napalm Strike ignore a portion of enemy defense — built to shred heavily-armored tanks.
- Fire Support Base caps any single incoming hit at 33% of your maximum HP, blunting burst-damage glass cannons.
- Claymore Mine adds +35% counter-damage, punishing anyone who attacks into it.
Bosses, missions, and security
Offensive power-ups now apply in boss invasions, so your loadout matters in PvE as well as PvP. Missions are unaffected by this change. We've also shipped a round of security hardening to strengthen account and login safety.
Deploy your new loadout
Jump back in, take a fresh look at your power-up loadout, and find the build that actually holds the line. The map's waiting, Commanders.
