Commanders, update 1.5.0 is live — and it closes the most painful hole in the game.
Until today, a forgotten password meant a lost account. There was no reset, no recovery, no way back in. If you mistyped your password when you signed up, that empire was gone. That is fixed.
This is a required update. Older versions will not connect until you update.
Password Reset, Finally
If you forget your password, you can now reset it from the login screen. Enter your email address and we send you a link to choose a new one.
A few things worth knowing about how it works:
- Reset links expire after 30 minutes and can only be used once
- Requesting a new link immediately invalidates any older one
- Completing a reset signs you out of every other session — so if someone else had got into your account, that reset locks them straight back out
We also do not confirm whether an email address has an account attached to it. Whatever you type, you get the same response. That is deliberate: it means nobody can use the reset form to find out which players are registered under which addresses.
Fewer Ways to Get Stuck
The rest of the account work is about removing dead ends — moments where the game knew what was wrong but did not tell you.
- Already have an account? Registering with an email that is already registered now offers you a way to log in instead of stopping at an error message.
- Suspended accounts now say exactly that, and when access comes back. Before, a suspended account appeared to log in successfully and then failed on every action with no explanation.
- Too many login attempts used to display “Cannot connect to server”, which made a normal rate limit look like the game was down. It now tells you plainly to wait a moment and try again.
- Registration is harder to get wrong — there is a confirm-password field, stricter email validation, and a toggle to show your password as you type. A typo in either field used to create an account you could never recover.
Upgrade Bases Several Levels at a Time
Upgrading a base one level per tap gets old fast, particularly once the costs climb.
You can now upgrade multiple levels in a single action. Choose how many levels with a slider, and the exact total cost is shown before you confirm. The slider caps itself at what you can actually afford, so there is no way to commit to an upgrade you cannot pay for.
The plain Upgrade button still buys a single level in one tap — nothing gets slower for the common case.
Community and Staff Tools
- Helpers can now grant max allies. Allies are carrier slots, so this directly raises how much of a player's gear counts toward Attack and Defence.
- The Discord bot has a /help command. It lists every command, explains what each one actually does, and shows which staff roles can run it.
Getting the Update
Both builds are live. Because this is a forced update, older clients are blocked until they update — so grab the new build before jumping back in.
